The inaugural Nanobubble, Energy and Water (NEW) Conference 2025, themed “Pathways to Industrial and Environmental Sustainability,” was held from the 3rd to the 5th of September at the scenic Killashee Hotel in County Kildare, Ireland. This pioneering event brought together an exceptional mix of scientists, engineers, business and industry leaders from the UK, Canada, Iran, India, Nigeria, France, China, USA, Ireland, and the Netherlands — all committed to exploring the transformative power of nanobubbles in tackling challenges in energy and water systems.
From the moment of registration—where delegates received a conference booklet, pen, notepad, and agenda—the atmosphere was intellectually energised and deeply collaborative. The event was marked by visionary keynotes, live demonstrations, engaging poster sessions, and dynamic roundtable discussions.
The first keynote showcased a collaborative project with Aramco, followed by a tutorial session on real-world case studies, led by Prof. English and colleagues.
